Final Blog

1)After evaluating my methods of thinking over the past years, I've come to beleive I have a creative mind. After I take in information, I enjoy analyzing it in different lights. I like to take this information and think of new ways to approach it and relate it to others. I enjoy taking old questions and breaking it down until I create a new quetion.

2)I asked provacative questions in my blog. I tried to inspire people to give interesting stories from previous concerts and explain their opinions and preferences in music and bands. I also tried to experiment with new ideas. I created a massive blog with all of the concerts scheduled to appear at Verizon this summer. I provided times and dates, trying to allow people to all the concerts in a broad sense and think about which ones they would like to attend the most and the least. I also tried to read with awareness of myself and others. I started off my blogs with general questions and then followed with my opinon to provide an exapmle of the type of information I was looking for. I also read other peoples' blogs and tried to see what they were trying to convey in their message.

3)By participating in this blogging project, I was suprised to see the broad topic of subjects that were covered. There were blogs streatching to all types of interests and questions. I was also impressed at all the different features and design options the website allowed people to use. There were lots of different tools that allowed people to do interesting things. There were also many types of editing tools which allowed people to personalize their blogs and express themselves. It was also a great tool to keep in communication with others.

As you know the Vans Warped Tour is a huge Tour of rock bands that travel the country as well as out of the country for a long period of time during the summer. This is a long tradition and very successful. People that follow the tour as groupies have been known to not shower for long periods of time and enjoy a long time of partying. First Verizon Concert Starts Tonight!

This post goes out to the one person that has voted for Pearl Jam as one of their most anticipated concerts. Well, the night is here, its Friday night and Verizon is waiting! Are you going?! Get your friends together and head out there early to tailgate. Get this concert season off to a great start. I heard the radio hosts of X103 talking about the concert on the radio this morning and they said they were very exctied to see Pearl Jam perform. Well this is just a reminder to everyone that Pearl Jam will be performing at Verizon tonight. If anyone goes don't forget to leave your opinion of the show and your stories on this blog! Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - American Girl (Live 1978)

One of the biggest surprises and highly anticipated concerts coming to Verizon is Tom Petty & the Heart breakers. This old and loved band has had countless hits that people cant help but sing along with even today. Free Falling of course one of their most popular songs has probably been memorized by more than 50% of the US population no matter what age group. American Girl happens to be one of my favorite TPH songs. Listen and you can't help but love this band's sound, lyrics, meaning, and rock and roll style. They are classic.

So far the most anticipated concert is Dave Matthews Band. I have heard many people talking about how excited they are to go see him. People are talking about purchasing their tickets as early as possible because its pretty much guaranteed to sell out. He will be performing two nights and word is Saturday is the night that always sells out first. So, go order your tickets now so you wont miss out on his great show!

SUBLIME CONCERT

Tomorrow, Thursday April 29, the band Sublime will be performing at the Egyptian Room. Tickets are around thirty-five dollars. Is anyone planning on attending? Sublime is a unique band with a punk reggae sound to it. Some of their most popular songs are "What I Got", "40 oz. to Freedom" and "Santeria." Personally I am a big fan of the band. I am considering attending the concert tomorrow. Post with your opinions!

I have attended many concerts at Verizon. I think they are one of the funnest things to do during the summer. Getting together with friends and tailgating before a concert is half the fun. Although country music is not my favorite genre, I think that country concerts are really fun. Everyone is just having a great time. I went to Dave Mathews a couple years ago as well and that was just a great show. I really enjoy his music. This summer i plan on attending a lot of the country concerts, The Vans Warped Tour, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews and more! Which ones are you planning on attending?
